I have a friend on Twitter called @LO70LO70LO7 and he has an owl character called "Nigel T. Freebird" which he also made art of, and is being used as his PFP and background. With my friend's permission, Nigel was intended to be my next OC, and I was gonna publish a sketch of him (I don't mind giving out spoilers. Hope you don't mind, either). So, say hi to Nigel.
However, it turns out there's another user on Twitter who has stolen the art of both the background and PFP. The art thief has two different accounts, one "outdated" and one made just last month, and he's using the stolen art for both accounts. He has credited two different people for the art pieces, and while you could say the art styles look similar to the credited artists, they are NOT the original artists. My friend is the creator of both art pieces, and the art thief has even stolen art that my friend has uploaded elsewhere on the internet himself. I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not plagiarizing, and to bring light to this theft problem. AI art taking over is bad enough, but now this? God help us all

This problem is still fresh, but thankfully not too severe. The thief mostly seems to repost political sh!t on his account. The thief's actual art is pretty terrible, he barely makes original posts, and he has not responded to me nor my friend. Unlikely he'll respond to us, and we're safe now that I've informed you about this
